The tour starts in Shiraz, from your hotel at 8 am. There is a 2-hour drive between Shiraz and Bishapur (120 km). After arriving in the ancient city of Bishapur, first, you visit the Anahita Temple, which is one of the most important historical monuments of the Sassanid period and the most valuable shrine of the goddess of water in the world. It can be considered one of the historical masterpieces of the Sassanid period from the point of view of engineering. Then, while visiting the remains of this ancient city, you will explore the Valerian Palace. After visiting the city, you leave to visit Tang-e Chogan. In Tang-e Chogan, not only you enjoy the Shapur River, but also you will get to see different stone inscriptions in Tang-e Chogan.
To finish the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Shiraz.
