Arrive at Tehran’s IKA airport; meet your guide and transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay. In the afternoon, we start our journey with an exploration of the Niavarn Palace Complex in uptown Tehran and Tajrish Bazaar and the neighborhood (considering the arrival is early morning).

We start our city tour by visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Golestan Palace, part of a complex of royal buildings that were once enclosed within the mud-thatched walls of Tehran’s historic arg, or citadel along with Tehran’s Grand Bazaar. Then, after having lunch we will visit Iran National Museum with all its amazing remains of ancient and historical Iran. In the late afternoon, we can spend some time on 30th Tir Street surrounded by all the street food trucks among locals.

Early morning, we will check out and drive towards Rasht, with an en-route visit to Qazvin. We will visit the city’s most important highlights including Saraye Sa’d-o-Saltaneh, Aminiha House, and Chehel Sotoun Palace. After having lunch in Qazvin, we will drive to the greenest part of Iran in the north and Rasht, famous as a gastronomy destination in Iran.

Starting our north exploration, we will visit the Anthropology Museum of Rasht along with the unique Local Bazaar of Rasht. Later on, we drive to the amazing village of Masuleh. Masuleh’s architecture is unique. The buildings have been built into the mountain and are interconnected. At the end of our excursion, we will get back to Rasht for the overnight stay.

Early morning, after breakfast, we will drive to the Caspian Sea Shore, spending some time on the beach, we will leave Bandar Anzali to go to Ardabil. It’s a 4 to 5 hours drive and if the weather is good, we take the road from Asalem to Khalkhal. It’s a road with wonderful natural nationwide beauty that shouldn’t be missed.

On day 6, we check out from the hotel to visit the Sheikh Safi Al-Din Ardabili’s Shrine (a UNESCO World Heritage) and Alighapoo Mosque in Ardabil. Then, after having lunch, we will leave Ardabil to go to Tabriz.

The city tour of Tabriz will include, the most famous Blue Mosque of the city, Tabriz Grand Bazaar known as the world-greatest covered bazaar, Arg-e Alishah, El Goli Building, and the Museum of Azerbaijan.

Early morning, we will drive to Hamedan after checking out of the hotel. On the way to Hamedan, we visit the Museum of Rakhtshooy Khaneh in the city of Zanjan and then Soltaniyeh Dome (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) in the city suburbs.

We will start our exploration early in the morning by visiting the amazing well-known Ali Sadr Cave on the outskirts of Hamedan. Then we will get back to the city and visit Alavyan Tomb Tower, a 12th-century structure regarded as the finest example of Seljuk art in Iran. See the latest excavations of ancient Ecbatana. Created by King Deioces as his capital where he ruled from 728-675 B.C. Visit the Tomb of Avicenna, a world-renowned astronomer, and physician of the 10th century, and Ganjnameh inscriptions.

An early departure for Kermanshah takes us via the Sassanian site at Kangavar, where the remains of a temple dedicated to Anahita, the beneficent divinity of water, are to be found. We then view the incredible Achaemenid bas-reliefs at Bisotun, one of the most famous Near Eastern archaeological sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then on to the sensational site at Tagh-é Bostan, where a sacred spring emerges from a mountain cliff and empties into a large reflecting pool.

En route to Shushtar we will visit the remains of Pol-é-Dokhtar, a bridge constructed by the Sassanians 2,000 years ago. It is huge – 900 feet long and rising 90 feet above water level and with eight arches needed to span the Kashkan River. In Shushtar we will see Historical Hydraulic System, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Before visiting this amazing structure, we will have a short visit to Mizan Band and Daryoun River to get a better understanding of the hydraulic system.
O/N ShushtarDrive to the great city of Susa, the setting of the Biblical Book of Esther to visit the Tomb of Daniel, said to hold the remains of the Jewish prophet, and still a place of pilgrimage, and Haft Tepe, the site of an ancient city built 3,500 years ago and an imposing feature rising about the surrounding plain. Here are found elaborate vaulted graves and a temple of the Middle Elamite royalty. Later on, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Tchogha Zanbil, the well-preserved Elamite ziggurat at Tchogha Zanbil is the largest man-made structure in Iran and one of the few remaining examples of ziggurats in the Middle East.

Today, leave Ahvaz to go to Asaluyeh. On the way, we’ll explore the port of Bushehr and have lunch there. Also, later on, towards our accommodation in Asaluyeh, we will pay a visit to the historical port of Siraf.

In the early morning, we will leave Asaluyeh to go to Bandar Abbas. En route, we will visit the ports of Mogham and Kong, and also visit Kong Portuguese Castle.

Getting up early in the morning we will take a ferry to get to the beautiful Island of Hormuz (we leave at 7:00 and the other at 9:00 am). After arriving, you will be mesmerized by the beauty of Hormuz Island. Then in the afternoon, leave Hormuz for Qeshm. There is a ferry that leaves for Qeshm at 3 pm. Late afternoon is at leisure to explore the island.

After breakfast, we explore the Island by visiting the Stars Valley a historical background of about two million years have been created as a result of soil, stone, and sand erosion, Chahkooh Canyon where there are rocks and natural statues that are shaped through time., Kharbas Cave, a temple of Mithraism in ancient times, Hara Mangrove Forest Protected Area (the habitat of trees that are rooted in water), and Geopark of Qeshm which is a wonderland and we will stay there until dinner time.

On the last day, leave Qeshm for Tehran in the morning. It’s better to stay the night in Tehran, but if the departure flight is on this day, then you’ll be transferred to Imam Khomeini Airport to take your flight.

Where to change somehow depends on the amount of money you’d like to exchange. If it’s a small amount you can change at the airport or your hotel after getting to Iran. But for larger amounts, we suggest exchanging at an exchange store in the city, while you are visiting the downtown with your guide. Your guide will also assist you in choosing the best place for doing the exchange.

All non-Iranian nationals older than 12 years, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and present a valid vaccine certificate on arrival. The vaccination certificate must be in English, showing full vaccination of 2 doses. However, there are no obligations regarding the date of the vaccination. Or they should present a negative PCR test.
Based on the group size or the road quality and the tour type, minibuses, vans or VIP buses will be used for the tour which are all private vehicles. All the vehicles are AC equipped and have the standard of EURO5 or EURO4.
Hotels are usually 4* or Traditional resorts with the same quality. Private or single rooms are not available in some traditional local houses. The basic price includes shared beds in double and twin rooms in hotels. Single rooms cost an extra fee.
Considering the locality and having an authentic experience, some traditional hotels or ecolodges do not have beds. But they all have sleeping equipment with comfortable mattresses and blankets.
