Welcome to Tehran, Iran's bustling capital city, where history, culture, and modernity intertwine. Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 9:00 AM for a full-day exploration of Tehran's iconic landmarks and hidden gems.

Our first stop is the Niavaran Palace Complex in the Shemiran district. This complex, once the primary residence of the last Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, features traditional Persian architecture and modern design. Key highlights include the main Niavaran Palace, the Ahmad Shahi Pavilion, and the Art Collections of Jahan Nama Museum.

Next, we head to the Sa'd Abad Palace Complex, set in beautiful gardens at the mountain foothills. This site contains 18 palaces from the Qajar and Pahlavi Dynasties, including the last Shah's residence before his departure in 1979. The complex also features the Fine Arts Museum with an exquisite collection of Persian paintings.

Our final destination is the vibrant Tajrish Bazaar, offering a variety of goods, from fresh produce and traditional sweets to crafts and souvenirs. The bazaar's picturesque central section, the nearby Imamzadeh Saleh Shrine, and a local kebab restaurant and teahouse add to its charm.

Where to change somehow depends on the amount of money you’d like to exchange. If it’s a small amount you can change at the airport or your hotel after getting to Iran. But for larger amounts, we suggest exchanging at an exchange store in the city, while you are visiting the downtown with your guide. All non-Iranian nationals older than 12 years, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and present a valid vaccine certificate on arrival. The vaccination certificate must be in English, showing full vaccination of 2 doses. However, there are no obligations regarding the date of the vaccination. Based on the group size or the road quality and the tour type, minibuses, vans or VIP buses will be used for the tour which are all private vehicles. All the vehicles are AC equipped and have the standard of EURO5 or EURO4.
