Situated in the southern part of Tehran, IKA airport is conveniently connected to the northern regions of Iran via a scenic highway that stretches all the way to the Caspian Sea. Your journey commences with a direct transfer to Neor Lake, traversing the breathtaking Caspian Sea shore road. Neor Lake is nestled at the border of the majestic Alborz Mountains, approximately 48 km southeast of Ardabil city, at an elevation of 2,700 meters above sea level. Spanning over 220 hectares, the lake consists of smaller and larger basins, which merge during the rainy season to form a single expansive lake. With a maximum depth of 5.5 meters and an average depth of three meters, Neor Lake is a serene oasis amidst the rugged terrain. Upon arrival, we establish our first camp near the tranquil shores of the lake, allowing you to rest and rejuvenate in preparation for the adventures that await tomorrow.

After enjoying the tranquility of Neor Lake, our adventure continues with an exhilarating biking journey towards Subatan Village. Setting off on dusty roads, we gradually ascend uphill, eventually reaching a saddle before embarking on a thrilling downhill ride towards Subatan, spanning approximately 6 hours. As we pedal through the rugged terrain, we're greeted by stunning landscapes and picturesque scenery that characterize this region. The lush green pastures, crisp mountain air, and pristine spring waters create an enchanting backdrop for our biking excursion. Subatan Village itself is a sight to behold, with its charming architecture nestled amidst the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. Where to change somehow depends on the amount of money you’d like to exchange. If it’s a small amount you can change at the airport or your hotel after getting to Iran. But for larger amounts, we suggest exchanging at an exchange store in the city, while you are visiting the downtown with your guide. All non-Iranian nationals older than 12 years, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and present a valid vaccine certificate on arrival. The vaccination certificate must be in English, showing full vaccination of 2 doses. However, there are no obligations regarding the date of the vaccination. Or they should present a negative PCR test.

Based on the group size or the road quality and the tour type, minibuses, vans or VIP buses will be used for the tour which are all private vehicles. All the vehicles are AC equipped and have the standard of EURO5 or EURO4.

Hotels are usually 4* or Traditional resorts with the same quality. Private or single rooms are not available in some traditional local houses. The basic price includes shared beds in double and twin rooms in hotels. Single rooms cost an extra fee.

Considering the locality and having an authentic experience, some traditional hotels or ecolodges do not have beds. But they all have sleeping equipment with comfortable mattresses and blankets.
