Top Religious Destinations in Iran

What is Religious Tourism?

Religious tourism is one of the most common forms of tourism around the world, dating back centuries, and generally includes trips and visits, the main purpose of which is a religious experience. In a general classification, top religious attractions in Iran can be divided into various categories: mosques, tombs and graves, Fire temples and fireplaces, Monasteries and convents.

We are facing two different groups of tourists in this regard. The first group of people who visit the holy places of their religion, such as Muslims who visit their holy places such as the Kaaba, holy shrines, or other holy places, and the second group of people who visit the holy places of other religions. For example, there are many people who are not Christians. But they visit churches in different parts of the world or Christians who visit Buddhist temples or other religions.

There are many spiritual and religious destinations in Iran that you can choose any of them as a place to spend your tour and in this article, we will introduce and review 12 of the most important religious attractions in Iran.
