Overview
This is a tour through the depth and breadth of Alborz mountain range and through a fascinating slice of Persian history. Alamut region had been the territory of Ismaeilies and the famous Hassan Sabbah and his infamous Alamut Castle. Their history is long and quite complex, during the trip we will have a chance to give more information and provide the chance to closely examine some of the physical remains of their structures. We also explore some natural attraction: hiking to spectacular Atan and Shorebon waterfalls, walking between rocks in “Andej valley”, walking through Pichebon plain and touch this magnificent plain.

Itinerary
Day 1: Tehran – Alamut
We leave Tehran at 6 AM and drive to the Alamut region in Qazvin. We have breakfast in a teahouse on the way. Then drive to Gazorkhan, head towards Hassan Sabah (Alamut) Castle and visit it. After lunch, trekking in Alamut valley toward the Atan waterfall. We have a short rest and enjoy a cup of herbal tea. At the end of the day, we go to a guesthouse in Alamut valley. O/N Guesthouse
Day 2: Pich-e Bon Plain
We have breakfast at 8 AM. Then we drive to Garmarood valley and visit Shor-e Bon waterfall. Then we have lunch in Piche-bon plain and visit this spectacular plain and also visit a Qajar era caravanserai called Salambar (or Pich-e Bon). At the end of the day, we go back to the guesthouse. O/N Guesthouse
Day 3: Back to Tehran
After breakfast, we drive to Andej valley. Walking gently between Andej rocks. After lunch, we head back to Tehran.
