This ancient house was the meeting place for the leaders of the Constitutional Revolution. The house was built in the year 1868 by the leader of the movement, Haj Mehdi Koozeh Kanani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Haj Mehdi Kuzehkonani was a rich merchant and a revolutionary activist. He ordered the construction of this beautiful house. As the Constitutional Movement grew stronger in <a href=\"https:\/\/toirantour.com\/blog\/tabriz-city-travel-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Tabriz<\/a>, Kuzehkonani made his house a gathering place for leaders, activists, and supporters of the revolution. Important people like Sattar Khan, Bagher Khan, Seqat-ol-Eslam Tabrizi, and Haji Mirza Aqa Farshi met at this house. By 1908, this house had changed into the main place for revolutionary activities. Kuzehkonani, who was also a political activist, offered his house to the revolutionaries and clergymen so they could meet and discuss important issues. In the middle of the 20th century, it became a place for meetings of the Azerbaijan Democrat Party. Today, this house is called the Constitution House of Tabriz and has been open to the public as a museum since 1996. It was built in 1247 SH by Haj Vali, a Tabriz architect who used the <strong>Qajar architectural style<\/strong>. This two-story building is made of stone, brick, and adobe. On the first floor, there are six rooms and a vestibule. The second floor has a large hall and six more rooms.
