Arg-e Bam, Iran: A Marvel of Brick Architecture
Arg-e Bam, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dates back at least to the Achaemenid period, the sixth to fourth centuries AD. In the north of the current city of Bam, the historical citadel is located and is known as the largest brick building in the world.
